Need a little sass in your fash!

Inspired by FP

If you need a little encouragement to be a little more lacy with your daily wearings, try adding this skirt over a pair of denim cut off shorts, or a tight fitted dress under the skirt and adding a button up top tied up at the waist for a flirty casual style. Be yourself, be bold and make a statement of course! One thing I always try to have is confidence in wearing whatever crazy thing I put together.  Confidence is sexy and noticeable, just what you want when you are wearing your new concoction.
 Try it!
Good looks, bad looks, who cares how they look at you, just espresso yo self!

Every Day Seems To Turn In To Love Songs

I've been playing this a lot lately, it takes me back to the old days, when there wasn't a lot of stress or care in the world, just you and your loved one, dancing slowly in the kitchen or out in the back yard while the sun is setting.  Every song brings back a memory for me, what about you?

I can listen to this song everyday! I actually do, because it's my boyfriends ring tone and he usually calls everyday! :)

There's Always Time To Be Silly

Have you ever thought of something in your head, and then actually tried it? Well, I thought about what it would look like and then it really did look and felt like I thought it would! haha

CROSSROADS

Don't you just love it when you're reading a good book and can't wait to get to the next chapter?  Or you can predict what's going to happen next, because of the gooey foreshadowing?  Well my life is like a metaphor to this interesting book, but not knowing what's coming next in this book, called "The Wonderful and Fun-Loving Life of Jordan Chanley!"  God has always had His hand upon me, and I trust that He will guide my paths in life, but it's scary not knowing what's coming next.  This brings me to a crossroad, and I am anxious to see what's in store for me next!
I have had 3 wonderful years with the Cowboys, and it has constantly kept me occupied, but now it's time to hang up the poms and see what's next!  You want to know what's next? I can't tell you that, because I don't even know, but I do know everything is going to be alright!  I love kids, so maybe could teach, but I love fashion, so maybe I want a boutique, oh but wait, I love to dance, I could teach fitness classes!  There are plenty of options, I'm just hoping doors will open for what God wants me to do.
Follow your passion, and success will follow you.  ~Terri Guillemets

Missing You

If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden.

She was the lap I "rode a little horsy don't fall down" on.
She was the hand I held for a little while, but my heart forever!
Who needs to follow a recipe when you have a Mema like mine.
She never ran out of cakes, or kisses!
She smelled of sweet frosting.
I could always count on my double heart homemade Birthday cake every year.  It was extra yummy, because it was made with lots of love.
She was my antique little best friend.
She was like, sweet apple pie, and Christmas morning.
She solved all my problems with candy.
She adored me and I adored her.
I Love you Mema Chanley, your legacy still carries on.... you are truly missed and I can't wait to meet with you again!

Prayer

Sometimes people have trouble praying, where to start, what to pray for, and so on.  This morning I got brushed up on some helpful points on what to always include in prayer. It was after I listened to my devo, which you can too if you click this link: http://www.drivetimedevotions.com/mc/m/07ae5/
It began with Philippians chapter 4 verses 6-7
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.  If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

We need to pray about everything in life, not just a major crisis, want or need.  The little things count too.  We can be as specific as we want. For example, if you are praying for your future husband, you can request for him to be tall, handsome and have blue eyes! I believe in specific detail, God wants to give you the desires of your heart.  It might seem funny to pray for something so specific, but not to God.
Our Prayer life should continue to grow, so we have to keep moving up on the scale and talk to him always!

3 important things to always have in prayer are: Adoration, which is talking to God about God, admiring Him and all the things He is to us.  Then, Supplication, in other words have practical request for Him.  Last, have Appreciation, be thankful to Him.

It's just like following direction on how to make a cake, you can't just put all the ingredients in together and bake, you have to follow step by step instructions, to make a yummy, tasteful cake.  Just like we do with praying to our heavenly Father, if we always include those 3 things in prayer, then when our major crisis or special request for something comes up in life, we have already been consistent and growing our relationship with Him, that he will honor our request and our anxiety will be taking care of.

TOMS

TOMS shoes are awesome! I had the opportunity to get involved with a "Style Your Sole" party at Cowboys Stadium! The Salvation Army, former Cowboys players and others were there to help with the event! I sat down with 3 kids who were all related and were between the ages of 8-10.  They decorated their Toms shoes with glitter, ribbons, paint, and buttons.  I had a wonderful time talking with these kids and listening to their hobbies, interest, and just what a normal day is to them.  I began to explain to the kids that they just bought a pair of kids in another country, a pair of Toms shoes.  It brought a huge smile to their face and they were happy to hear that they were doing a random act of kindness for another kid who really needs shoes.

The TOMS Story

In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers.

As of September 2010, TOMS has given over one million pairs of new shoes to children in need through Giving Partners around the world.

To give and then not feel that one has given is the very best of all ways of giving.  ~Max Beerbohm

~Spreading Cheer~

Recently, my fellow DCC Friend Meredith and I went to teach some master classes for Macielok School of Dance in Hobbs, NM.  I felt honored being asked to come teach back at my old dance studio.  I took there since the age of 3 and until I graduated.  I feel called to be a positive role-model towards our "future America," which are the children of this world.  I got to do it through dance this time.
No matter what your talents are, use them to be the best, surround yourself with the best, and do it with a big smile!
