"PTL" Angels!

So, the story behind PTL, which stands for PRAISE THE LORD, came from my college days at Southwestern Assemblies of God University! I attended there for 4 years and learned so much about the Lord.  It is an amazing school if you are ready to seek more of God and to learn what He has to give you in life.  Our teachers and students would always say "PTL" to a praise report, good news, or just because of excitement!  I took this saying with me after I made Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader my first year in 2008.  I was in Group 3 and we were the PTL group, because I had my whole group always saying it.  Justine was my group leader for 2 years and she was our PTL MAMA, then Meredith, took over after Justine retired my 3rd year, and was our new PTL mama for group 4!  We also liked to be positive influences and pray in times of need and rejoice in times of praise!!  Our "PTL" carried through "most" other groups and still lives on thanks to Mia, Brittany, and Kelsi! So, PTL for all my PTL buddies!! I love you so much and so does Jesus! Give God the Glory, Honor, and Praise!!!

My sweet and precious friend Mia requested an order of angels for her group she cheers with!  Being a DCC you are to bring a special gift to your group on game day. So, her game day was in November and had asked me to make a "DCC" Angel.  So we put our brains together and came up with this Sweet Darlin' Angel......

This was before Mia added her special quote and rhinestones to the painting.

"Sock" Rockin' It

So I might be a little obsessed with Pinterest! If you are not a member, you should be!
I have been trying to accomplish the high bun! You might have spotted a few peeps rockin' them....

So here is me attempting mine on a rushed day to work! (note this is before I found out about the "sock bun") I am still wondering if you have to have a specific head shape to wear this particular style??? Anybody know? I think my head is not round enough! Oh well, I guess I will keep wearing it until my sister or someone with guts says "you do not need to be wearing that bun!"

After a couple hours on Pinterest, I found this!!!!

SO, now I get the idea and try it, I'd say it looks a little more put together, don't ya think!?

Here is another way to try the sock bun and looks just as full and round!!!

"So thank you Pinterest for helping me feel creative, even though I have been sitting at my computer the last 3 hours."
