I have always prayed for Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding in life every since I was a little girl on the way to school in the car with my Mom! My Mom has been my rock and spiritual leader always. She would always make me say my spiritual confessions and speak the word over my life in the car on the way to school. With that said, I have stayed prayed up for years to come, and it trained me to always pray every morning, even without my Mom. One of the things I would ask Jesus is for wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Well today my devo was over that exact scripture in Colossians 1: 9-12.
"We ask God to give you a complete understanding of what he wants to do in your lives, and we ask him to make you wise with spiritual wisdom. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and you will continually do good, kind things for others. All the while, you will learn to know God better and better. We also pray that you will be strengthened with his glorious power so that you will have all the patience and endurance you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father, who has enabled you to share the inheritance that belongs to God's hole people, who live in the light."
This is exactly what I needed to hear lately, because I am about to make a big decision in life. Big decisions can be stressful, but if you trust Him and know He will take care of all your worries, then there is no need to stress! I just want to thank the Lord right now for speaking to me this morning! You never have let me down!
